Shop Whites

I have been busy painting, upholstering and tagging.  I thought I would show you some of the projects I have finished for the flea market at the end of the month.

I have been working on getting the Etsy account up and running.  I had to consult my previous business partner in regards to shipping.  She advised that I use priority, it is a little pricier but in the long run she said that it would best suit my shipping needs.  Boxes should be arriving next week for me to continue to the next step of listing.  Thank you for being patient.

  1. Hi ~ Thanks so much for the posting tip. I didn't know about it and will certainly use it. Great to know. I LOVE your whites, etc. That rocking chair....(if I only had 3 houses to fill up) I agree on shipping, Priority I find to be best. That is really the hardest part of running a shop with medium to larger items. And the only reason why I don't do furniture ~ I can never figure out how best to ship. Someone did mention Greyhound shipping to me as being pretty reasonable for large items - you may want to look into that as well. thanks again - Dee

  4. I am waiting for your etsy shop to open. I have a feeling I'll be a frequent shopper! (Just ask Dee from French Bleu Vintage)

As far as shipping, priority and flat rate. For BIG items (furniture) Greyhound Bus Shipping is the least expensive but only if you have a station somewhat local. I used to take all my big items once a month to the station in AC to ship.
Most people don't mind waiting as lng as they know they are saving a lot of money by doing so.

  6. You have such beautiful things. I'm sure etsy will do great.
Thanks for the tip on the dropcloths. I have 3 Lowes in our area. I'll keep looking until I find the one that carries them.

  8. What a pretty pile of stuff! You should do well at your flea market. I totally relate to what you're doing. I've made certain changes recently also and am trying new shows which I didn't do before. It is fun but can cause a little anxiety as well!

Praying for much success in your business and life.

    Sincere Blessings,
    Missy
