Flea Market Whites

I have been busy painting furniture and tagging more items for the flea market.  I have made a change, I am starting a new job in the next few weeks and that will effect any extra work I do.  I will reassess after the flea market is over.  My hope is that I can sell EVERYTHING!

I still have two weeks to wrap up the final details.  I am making some new Halloween signs and tags.

Shop Whites

I have been busy painting, upholstering and tagging.  I thought I would show you some of the projects I have finished for the flea market at the end of the month.

I have been working on getting the Etsy account up and running.  I had to consult my previous business partner in regards to shipping.  She advised that I use priority, it is a little pricier but in the long run she said that it would best suit my shipping needs.  Boxes should be arriving next week for me to continue to the next step of listing.  Thank you for being patient.

Pretties for the Flea Market

I have tagged over 120 items and that is only the small items and I am not done yet.  I still have chairs, dressers, tables oh and MORE chairs.  I have a ton more pictures to take so if it does not sell at the flea market I can list on my Etsy.

Welcome Old Friends and New Friends

Welcome all friends of Clara Louise's Painted Cottage.

A fresh beginning was necessary for me.  Now that all of my children will be in school of one sort or another, I have decided maybe my life needs to follow new direction.  I am pursuing different job opportunities, changing the name of my business and contemplating Etsy. 

I hope that along the way I enjoy the process of getting to where ever I am meant to be.

A major project I have going at the moment is to prepare for the Flea Market where I will introduce and advertise for the Arbor House Lane shop.  I am nervous, excited and exhilarated to be doing this event.  It is not a large Flea Market but it is always a fun one to be in and go to.  It also has sentimentality to it, it is at the location of my first shop YURHAUS. 

I am going to work the Flea Market with my friend and potential business partner Patrice and my two sisters Tiera and Iesa.  We plan to decorate just as if it were a shop, very much like my home, with lots of white furniture, home decor and accessories.

  As the situation is right now, I have a lot of PAINTING, PAINTING and more PAINTING to do.  As I prepare for the show I will post sneak peeks of what I will be taking to the show.
